What's New With the 2024 Kia Seltos
Several exciting changes have happened for the 2024 Kia Seltos. Models with the available turbocharged engine can now churn out 195 horsepower, which is 20 more than the outgoing version. The Kia Seltos also got an update this year, including new wheel designs and a new look for the headlights. Dual dashboard displays are now standard for this Kia SUV, making it look and feel more high-tech as you cruise around Ashwaubenon and beyond.
Performance
Kia Seltos has a four-cylinder engine that creates 146 horsepower. It works beautifully with the standard continuously variable transmission, providing a smooth ride around Appleton and excellent fuel economy. The X Line and SX trims are given a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 195 horsepower instead. For this engine, Kia goes with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Interior & Technology
Technology features are plentiful inside the cabin of the 2024 Kia Seltos. Among the standard features are popular things such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, three USB ports, and an eight-inch touchscreen. Depending on the version of the Kia Seltos you choose, you can also find things like wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, satellite radio, and an extra USB port. A 10.25-inch touchscreen replaces the eight-inch one in select models as well. You'll choose between the standard six-speaker sound system or a model with the available eight-speaker Bose setup.
The Kia Seltos seats up to five for trips around Howard-Suamico. It also has a surprising amount of cargo space for an SUV of its size, giving you 26.6 cubic feet behind the backseat and nearly 63 cubic feet behind the first row. Automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, ambient interior lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and a push-button start are all available features for the 2024 Kia Seltos.
Safety Features
The Kia Seltos has safety features that make a difference in your day-to-day drives. This SUV has a rear-seat alert, for example, driver attention monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and forward-collision mitigation. Every 2024 Kia Seltos also has pedestrian and cyclist detection, plus automatic high beams. On select models of the Kia Seltos, there are traffic-sign recognition and vehicle exit warning systems. Blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control are available as well. You'll even get a highway driving assistance feature that combines adaptive cruise control with lane centering to reduce the pressure on you on a long trip departing from Pulaski.
Trim Levels
The Kia Seltos is available in five trim levels:
- Kia Seltos LX: The LX trim has an eight-inch touchscreen, 17-inch alloy wheels, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, three USB ports, automatic high beams, and driver attention monitoring.
- Kia Seltos S: The S trim raises the bar with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi hotspot, satellite radio, push-button start, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and navigation.
- Kia Seltos EX: The EX trim ups the ante with technology and convenience features like wireless device charging, heated front seats, 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and synthetic leather upholstery.
- Kia Seltos X Line: Blacked-out exterior trim, 18-inch alloy wheels.
- Kia Seltos SX: The top-of-the-line SX trim offers an auto-dimming rearview mirror, universal garage door opener, LED headlights, Bose sound system, adaptive cruise control, and traffic-sign recognition
