Vehicle Sales Specialist

As a sales specialist at Dorsch, you will help people find the car that they love to drive and fully meets their family's needs. We strive to create a one of a kind shopping experience tailored personally to each customer. With an exceptional knowledge base on all vehicles, you will be able to provide quick and accurate information. You will perform cost-benefit analyses to help customers make the best decision with regard to make, model, vehicle options and finance products. With the utilization of time management and organization skills, you will be able to continue to serve existing customers while establishing relationships with new potential guests. The goal of our sales team is to maintain long lasting and positive relationships with customers in our community. Required Qualifications:

·        Must have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/related field or equivalent experience

Parts Counter Person

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory

  • Order parts

  • Determine and satisfy customers needs  

  • Communicate with customers over the phone to locate needed parts or service 

  • Determine which parts are in inventory, require reordering, or must be special ordered

  • Assist manager in resolving discrepancies between computer inventory and actual inventory

  • Obtain information needed to place special orders and ensure correct parts are sent

  • Research availability of parts

  • Search part numbers using the computer or standard catalogs.  

  • Stay on top of seasonal parts, recall parts, and  specials in the Service Department. 

Required Skills:  

  • Ability to communicate with customers

  • Ability to monitor inventory

  • Must be knowledgeable of parts counter procedures, such as requiring prepayment for special orders, etc. 

  • Ability to search part numbers utilizing a computer

  • Ability to monitor bins and determine which parts need reordering 

  • Ability to accurately track parts

  • Ability to monitor lost sales for inventory control 

  • Must be Knowledge of procedures for ordering special parts or parts with no published part numbers  

  • Ability to identify and acknowledge the receipt of warranty (used) parts 

  • Must be organized

  • Must be eager to work 

  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check 

  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment

Required Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Current and valid driver's license  

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds 

  • Available to work Saturdays every three weeks on a rotating schedule 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a parts technician

Service Technician

We just completed construction on our new addition. We are excited to add some technicians to our new service team.

  • Work on new and used vehicles
  • Work alongside other technicians (electrical, steering, engine work, diagnosis, suspension, routine maintenance)
  • Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
  • Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications


  • High school diploma
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Kia experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Team player
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Math, reading, and computer skills
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Must have personal tools or be able to acquire them
  • Ability to work on all types of vehicles
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Lube Technician

Job Description: Our Lube Techs work in the comfort of a newly constructed and air conditioned shop. The revised schedule offers 4 and 5 day work weeks with minimal Saturdays.  Dorsch provides uniforms with laundry services, and tools for the Lube Techs. The family owned business atmosphere makes Dorsch a welcoming and enjoyable place to work.

Our training program offers the opportunity to become a certified Ford Master Technician.  With progressive responsibility growth, paid training, and paid schooling, the opportunities at Dorsch are endless. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete vehicle inspections

  • Prepare new vehicles before they go on the lot

  • Change oil and filter on vehicle

  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflations, install tires, and rotate tires on vehicles

  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary

  • Other duties as assigned by Service Director, Service Lane Manager, and Dispatcher

Job Requirements:

  • Must be hardworking, driven, highly organized and focused on guests' needs and expectations.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Must have desire to work and grow in  the automotive industry

  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Three week rotating schedule

Week 1: Monday-Thursday  7-5:30

Week 2: Monday-Friday 8-4:30

Week 3: Wednesday-Saturday 7:00-5:30

  • Perform wheel alignments checks

  • Performs multi-point inspections
  • Inspects fluid levels
  • Completes pre-delivery inspection on new cars
  • Replaces oil and air filters
  • Recommends services based on findings from thorough inspection


  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Prior experience as a lube technician preferred
  • Automotive 2 year degree preferred
