I just had the pleasure of purchasing a new Kia Sorento from Dorsch Ford.  I rarely feel compelled to comment like this but I felt this experience was worth the effort.  I've been in the service industry most of my life, so I know what this means.  We've purchase a number of new cars in our life but it was mostly through my employer, so the experience was more controlled,.  I've looked at several dealerships, tried out cars and had appraisals performed on the vehicle I was driving.  It was not a pleasant experience, and I felt the bad rap that car sales can get, really fit.  This was not the case with purchasing this Kia.  The timing was perfect with getting back to me at an appropriate amount of time, and everyone kept helping me  until the correct vehicle was available.  James Vertz worked up a price right away that I was pleased with and I didn't feel compelled to haggle at all.  He found the car he thought I would like and retrieved it on the speculation, which proved to be a good move.  He could read my interest which has worked well for others when I bought cars previously.  The paper work, test drive and delivery was performed by Gene Eck and I can't say enough about how both my wife and myself were pleased that he was the person that James gave us to deal with.  Gene called me a number of times to keep me posted and was always available when I called him. Gene called me a couple times after the purchase as follow up which I always think is a nice touch.. He is such a genuinely pleasant individual, it made us getting the car absolutely flawless. I even purchased the extended coverage from Ryan, which I have never done in my life. 

It's hard to not be pleased with a new car, but my wife and I both are very happy with our new Kia.  Again I know service and what it takes and your organization did that for us.

Joe has repeatedly gone out of his way to be exceptionally and consistently kind, cooperative, quick, and supportive. Unfortunately, good customer service is not recognized often enough and I'd like to make sure Joe gets the recognition he deserves for the great job he's doing for your company. From my experience with him, Joe is a great representative of Dorsch Ford Kia and a model employee.

My wife and I are writing today to inform you of how we were treated at your dealership June 16, 2010.  Our Ford van was towed in to your facility off the highway.  Waiting to greet us was Mr. Shane Smith, service advisor, with a smile and firm "Hello".  After explaining our predicament and being it late in the day, we understood that the van would not be repaired until the following day.  Shane seemed to feel our concern as we needed to get to a funeral some 50 miles away.  He called us a car rental place and took me out there to the rental facility while my wife and dog waited.  The rental company was another story, but we need not get into that.

Shane kept us informed of the progress being made on the van the following morning.  When ready I returned, paid the bill and wished to thank him for going what we believe was far above average service.  Unfortunately, he was out to lunch.  Please thank him for us as we were hot, tired and grieving out of town travelers.

Yesterday my wife and I purchased a new Ford Flex from your dealership.  I wanted to mention our experience with you , briefly, as I thought it to be noteworthy.  Our salesperson was Chris Heaton.  He treated us with the utmost professionalism and respect.  I have to admit I am never thrilled to go onto a car lot but this experience was different.  From the first time we came onto the lot to look at your vehicles, we never felt pressured.  I was expecting to have a salesperson seek us out and begin to badger us with questions.  Again, this was not the case. 
 
We had our infant with us and when we asked (James Glodoski) to test drive there was no hesitation about letting us put the child seat into one of your new cars.  I cannot say the same for other dealerships.  When we went inside we found your business to be immaculately clean.  We never had to open a door as your staff was ALWAYS there to open it.  Chris even went as far as to open doors for other staff members! All the times we have been inside, there was always staff at the desks and EVERYONE working there was in good spirits.  Certainly not a experience we have seen elsewhere. I thought it also courteous of your cleaning staff to immediately stop mopping the floors and not act disrupted or bothered that we were going into the area that they at the time were cleaning.
 
Hats off again to Chris for maintaining his professionalism and dedication to return our calls and answer our questions as quickly as he did.  Again never once did I hear any attitude or frustration in his demeanor during our experience.  It seemed as if he genuinely cared about our purchase.  When we purchased the car, he took the time to show us EVERY feature on the vehicle to the point that we feel ABOVE AND BEYOND what could ever be expected. He even spot cleaned a couple specks of dirt that we did not notice!  This is the 3rd new vehicle that we have purchased and this experience has no comparison on the previous. Our child left his hat behind when we left.  Chris actually called me and met us at the gas station across the road to give the hat back to us.  We feel that Chris should be commended for his work as we feel he is a asset to your company.
 
James Vertz was also professional with us and even after 8pm (after close) he still gave us the time of day and discussed the deal with us prior to purchasing.  Again did not seem bothered nor make us feel rushed as I knew that it was beyond the time the business was open.  Same experience with Ryan Amundson he was again professional and quickly completed the sale process which was much appreciated.  I do also have to mention that some person, who worked in the garage, came up to us as we were looking over the vehicle and made small talk about the car we had just bought.  He certainly did not have to do that!
 
I understand that in any business that the customers are the business.  We however feel that your dealership is certainly above and beyond what we could have expected.  Again, thank you for your time and we definitely will be referring our friends to your business.

I recently purchased a Kia and some dirt had gotten on the interior when the service department installed an add on item for me.  My sales person sent me to see Jack.  Right then and there he took the time to remove the dirt for me, even though he looked very busy.  When I thanked him, he made a comment to the effect that he was always there to help customers, and do what he could to keep them happy.  In this day and age, here is an employee totally committed to customer satisfaction, which a lot of times I find rare where ever I go.  The sales people and service people probably get some very good comments at Kia, but Jack seems to be hidden in the back and probably does not work with customers very much, but still knows how to represent Dorsch in the highest manner he can.  In my opinion, you have a very valuable employee in Jack, and I think he deserves a pat on the back.

Last Thursday my wife and I took a slippery ride from Ashwaubenon to pick up our son's car that was done with some service work because he had to work by the time his car was done. After paying for it we were both cleaning off the snow while it was running to warm the car up. After the snow was cleaned off we discovered that the door locks apparently engaged. We were locked out ! We went back inside to ask for help on how get in. We explained the situation to Joe Henrigillis. He looked up the work order, printed a copy, and then took us to the parts counter. Mike in the Parts Dept made a key from the VIN number at no charge. That got us in the car and we were on our way.  We wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the great help from Joe and Mike.   Please thank them again!

I know I have done this before, but when I experience such exceptional customer service, I just can't convince myself that you know I appreciate doing business with Dorsch!

I brought my 2003 Taurus in this morning with a broken high stop lamp assembly.  I had spoken with Shane last Monday and he did some research for me on resolving this issue.  After he spoke with Parts, he told me Dorsch had never ordered this assembly before so I believe I was the "lucky one" that it happened to.  He quoted a brand new assembly and then said he would call me if he could find a used one, which he did.  It really seemed like a pretty big expense but made the appointment to come in today and see if there was an alternative.  Shane was ill today so I was referred to the Body Shop and I believe his name was Brian. 

Brian had this problem fixed within a half hour and I was on my way.  A repair was made and as a "senior", I was more than thrilled with the cost of the repair. 

Yes, this is what I have come to expect from back in the days of Yineman-Dorsch.  Your father was a fair and consummate professional who always made me feel special, not because I am, but because that is the way he chose to do business.  You had an excellent role model and it is apparent you have done him proud.  I worked and lived in Clintonville for the last 16 years of my career and C-ville Motors/Ron Kautz really gave me grief about driving around a small town with a Dorsch sticker on my car, so I did buy one from him--the one I now have.  I love my Taurus-I can't imagine buying any other brand and now that I have returned to Green Bay, I can't imagine having any other firm handling my service.

Today I had my oil changed and my tires rotated.  I normally deal with Bob N. but he was off.  I had the extreme pleasure of dealing with Shane Smith.  Shane was extremely polite and knowledgable every step of the way.  He explained everything that I needed done as well as a few things I could have done.  He explained everything in terms I could understand and went out of his way to make sure I would come back again.  And my car was done before the promised time - which is a great big plus.  Shane went above and beyond my expectations!

Allow me to convey my thanks to you for the manner in which your employee has taken care of my vehicles.  I coordinate the service of numerous fleet vehicles.  Knowing that I have a competent professional such as Mr. Henrigillis to rely on is a definite savings for my time and peace of mind.  He is always courteous and friendly and I have found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. 

The specifics that I would like to address for this letter is on 7/9/09.  I had a vehicle in need of service and also had a list of parts I needed.  I was behind schedule and in a hurry.  When I arrived at your dealership to meet with Mr. Henrigillis, he was with a customer that had a wealth of questions for him.  He noticed that I was there and knew that I was pressed for time.  He quite skillfully finished with the person he was assisting, took care of checking in our fleet vehicle, and took my parts list to save me the time of going to the parts department.  When I picked up the vehicle, everything had been taken care of and my needed parts were in the back all set to go.

It makes my job easier knowing that I can rely on Mr. Henrigillis to take care of our vehicles.  Please convey my appreciation to him and let him know that his efforts are noticed.

Just had to tell you that I went to vote today and was tapped on the shoulder and asked how do I like my Kia? How many miles do you get? Is that it in the church parking lot? Sharp vehicle, sharp hair! I Laughed out loud over that one...was at work at The Woods on Sunday waitressing a banquet and someone called me the Dorsch Girl....last-a co-worker here at Ver Halen, said he saw it on Monday night football. Is it running again? I am getting the thumbs up, beeped at, waved at constantly by people I don’t know, passers by at home stopping to ask how I like the Kia……no marriage proposals as of yet……

I am writing to tell you why I will be a lifelong customer of your dealership.

Each year, I go on a week-long fishing trip with some buddies.  It's an annual event that we all look forward to - 7 days of camaraderie with five of my best friends.  This year, just a few days before we were to depart, I hit a deer with my Kia Sedona van.  The accident caused major damage and between towing, working out the insurance details, ordering parts and getting the car repaired, the van was going to be out of commission for a couple of weeks.  This put our trip in jeopardy, since my vehicle was needed to get people and gear to our destination.  Patrick and Dale, your body shop managers, went WAY above and beyond to make sure my trip was not cancelled.  They did their very best to try to get it fixed before we left, and when that turned out not to be possible, they gave me a loaner van for a week at no cost to me.  Do you have any idea how rare and appreciated customer service like that is?  You can be assured that I will tell this story to everyone I know.  I have made it my personal mission to steer as much business as I can in the direction of Dorsch Ford Kia.  And when the time comes for me to purchase my next car there will only be one place that I will shop.  Thank you so much for everything your staff did to allow our fishing trip to happen and for renewing my faith in human nature.  This truly was an undeserved favor for which I will be forever grateful.

Dear Mr. Dorsch,
I wanted to inform you of an experience I had recently with one of the Service Representatives in your employ, Mr. James Anschutz.  I am responsible for the fleet management at NWTC and have dealt with Mr. Anschutz on several occasions.  During a visit on to your facility on March 3, 2008, I observed conduct from Mr. Anschutz that solidifies why I am a loyal Dorsch Ford Customer.

An elderly gentleman was in the service line with his vehicle.  He was speaking with Mr. Anschutz about having service done to his vehicle and one of the items he requested was having his spark plugs changed.  Mr. Anschutz verified the man's vehicle, checked the records and then started and physically checked the man's vehicle.  He explained to the gentleman that the vehicle was not in need of all of the service that was requested and that the spark plugs had been replaced only 45 days prior.  The gentleman thanked Mr. Anschutz for his time and left obviously happy.

 This is the type of integrity and professionalism that warrants recognition.  Mr. Anschutz could have very easily wrote the work ticket and had all of the unnecessary service preformed on the gentleman's vehicle.  Instead he showed care and respect for his clients and did the right thing.  I just wanted you to know that I noticed and was impressed.  Mr. Anschutz has always been professional and timely when handling my vehicles, both private and corporate.  He has earned my trust and respect.

Would like to take this opportunity to thank all the "James's" that helped make our buying experience a real joy. We are extreamly pleased with our purchase. It was well worth our time to go the few extra miles to visit Dorsch  Motors. We've had the opportunity to visit many car dealerships over the past couple months but just couldn't find the right deal. Not the case with Dorsch.  Knew right away we came to the right place and was now a reason we didn't settle on any of the other "selections" .

People will hear of our experience and a lot of encouragement to visit Dorsch first. Certainly will make Dorsch our 1st stop now when it's time to put our Sorento up for adoption.  Appleton KIA assured us that Dorsch would not stand by the price we were originally quoted. How wrong they were. And they are going to hear the good old "wanna bet?" 

I've purchased a lot of new vehicles over the years, but no purchase experience matches this one. I bought 3 new Saturns over the years and they brag about a "no hassle deal". Got news for them, Dorsch is the "no hassle dealership" as far as I'm concerned. When I get ready to make a selection and go for the deal, I usually prepare for a meeting of the minds and get ready to battle the odds, but Dorsch had a deal for us that took all the fight out of it. I had nothing to counter on. It was sign and drive.  A first for me.
